ABOUT J&A AUTOMATION

Automation engineers with field experience behind the code.

J&A Automation was founded in 2008 by engineers with experience in multinational engineering environments and industrial automation projects. The company grew from PLC, robotics and electrical work into multidisciplinary controls engineering, simulation, commissioning, technical support and training.

State of the art automated assembly line

Built around the realities of production.

Industrial projects are judged on the factory floor. Software has to work with electrical hardware, robots, drives, mechanics, operators, maintenance teams and production schedules. J&A's project history reflects that practical focus—from machine modifications and controls development to line integration, commissioning, ramp-up and ongoing support.

Today the company serves manufacturers, OEMs and engineering teams across the United States, Brazil and international projects, combining field execution with remote controls support.

Our philosophy is simple: engineering excellence drives reliability. We build code structures that are modular, robust, and designed for the real-world conditions of the factory floor.

Engineering principles

Own the interface

Many automation problems happen between systems. Treat the PLC, robot, drive, machine, field device and operator interface as one engineering problem.

Validate before production

Find sequence, interface and failure-mode problems before they consume commissioning time.

Stay through startup

A project is not complete because the code compiles. It has to operate predictably under production conditions.

Make diagnostics useful

States, alarms and HMI information should help maintenance and operations understand what happened and what to do next.

Join Our Team

We are always looking for talented PLC engineers, robotics specialists, and electrical designers to join our growing operations in the USA and Brazil.
